Helping clients find healthy ways to deal with anxiety
Anxiety Disorder is another common behavioral health disorder that causes significant worry or fear that does not easily go away. Anxiety is a normal response but what separates it from anxiety disorder is that the latter is fairly constant and is also characterized by negative, intrusive thoughts that may affect a person’s quality of life. To treat this disorder, one has to work with a behavioral health professional and undergo psychotherapy, be prescribed medications, and be guided in learning healthier coping strategies. While anxiety disorder is not curable, it can be managed through these approaches.
